Some countries don’t have enough clean water for their rapidly growing populations, and they can’t afford the infrastructure necessary to clean and transport it. There are several governmental and nongovernmental organizations, including UNICEF and Water Aid, working to help poor communities in Asia and Africa obtain sustainable supplies of drinking water and sanitation facilities.
