Boeing Starliner contacted NASA Mission Control and asked them what this strange sound was coming from the Starliner speakers. The capsule with encased samples was retrieved from Earth’s surface and is being studied, as was done with the Stardust mission. Data collection and analysis took several months, as to be sure that the probe had indeed crossed, the Alfven Surface. In this session, we will introduce attendees to the idea of free flight model aircraft, demonstrate how these aircraft can be flown safely in schools, and share the variety of instructional resources that are immediately available for classroom use. In many cases, educators can earn credit hours or certificates.
