Bringing together students and researchers from UMBC, Morgan, NASA and other institutions creates the opportunity for innovation in Earth science. USC students have access to some of the Office 365 suite, including OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business, and SharePoint. These wafers consist of 15 different high-purity materials including aluminum, sapphire, silicon, germanium, gold, platinum, and diamond-like amorphous carbon — all chosen for their durability, purity, cleanliness, retentiveness and ease of analysis. Part of this involved making five collector arrays, each with 55 hexagonal wafers measuring 10 centimeters in diameter. Very little energy is needed to travel from tube to tube.
