Still, as people begin to put more money into their kitchens and the prices of induction cooktops start to inch downward, the U.S. With base prices of $7,918 for a roomy Impala sedan and just $8,367 for the ritzier (and far more popular) Caprice Classic sedan, these big family cruisers looked downright cheap next to $8,100 Cavalier CL subcompacts and $8,600 Celebrity intermediates.
